We have a Registered Nurse to cover the health centre for 4 hours each school day
from 10.30-14.30 to coincide with school play times.

The Nurse provides:

• First aid to children with injuries
• Healthcare assessment when children feel unwell
• Medication with parental/carers consent
• Management of students with special healthcare needs
• Co-ordination of asthma management plans at school
• Management and education related to head lice
• A health education resource for school staff and parents

We are a registered Asthma Friendly school with the
Asthma Foundation of Victoria.
